I realise that posting about blue and pink in succession may make me look as though I’m broody for a gender-ambiguous baby (immaculate conception-pending, obvs) but I simply am having a lot of fun with colour lately! Summer is of course the perfect time to experiment with brights, and I couldn’t resist jazzing up this pale blue panelled COS tee with some crisp cobalts and fresh whites.
The tee was a steal at €14.95 from COS’s flagship store on Wicklow St. In Dublin, and it’s pale blue hue is ideal for showcasing any summer tans that one may have acquired from our (non-existent) Irish sun! My blazer is from Zara, and was purchased over 3 years ago. It’s managed to stand the sartorial test of time, so I can’t help but dust it off on those sunnier days- it really adds a quirky edge to basics, and can look great worn over patterned shirts that have elements of the same shade throughout.
I was delighted to pick up socks from COS in the same shade as this tee, so it only seemed right that I worked them into this ensemble- the Lego Look is VERY en vogue, don’t you know!
I added a pale blue polka-dot pocketsqaure and this amazing pearl studded watch to complement the skyline aesthetic- the watch was a cheeky find from ‘Adorn’ on Nassau Street in Dublin, and set me back a measly €8- how could a gal resist?!
I worked this look today for a cheeky coffee in Avoca in Malahide with my sister Vanessa and my gal pal Niamh. Niamh is a food blogger and quite the photographer, so we decided to take advantage of the good weather and have some headshot fun! It was divine!
